Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is a great example of what can be done with light when fog has set in. Your contrast adjustments have done this image a great service as the tree trunks now have just enough punch to give them character against the white without making them stand out too much.
The detail shown in the foreground branches gives the image a truly ghostly feel reminiscent of Victorian supernatural imagery (seance photographs with all their veils etc).
The colour saturation is sublime, removing enough interference to keep the image contrasted without going full on BW. The slight green/yellow tint in the fog again gives the image that feeling of age whilst avoiding overdone sepia.
Put simply, I love this kind of image and you have executed it very well.
