Frozen In Time

Ever since i have seen this picture come up on the site, i have wanted to review this picture. I loved it straight away, i came glad i have 30 minutes to give it a critique <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

The picture has a great composition, the square shape works well for it.

The colours are amazing, there is good range of tones- a good mixture of light and dark tones. Which creates a new layer to the picture. With the blurred qualtiy to it, also working in the pictures favour.
The one factor i love the picture, and creates the character and makes the picture individual. Is the red leaf <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> The crisp and sharp look of the colour stands out against the rest of the picture.
The other factor i love to this picture,the sharp detail of the water/ice particles is so clear and adds another layer and detail to the picture.
When it blurs out in the background of the picture, it still looks interesting.
