It is the second picture of a forest I comment - and the atmosphere is incredible.
As the observer you see the trees and the sunlight behind the tree in the foreground and the picture nearly "absorbes" you. I get into it. The depth of your work is really cool, so are the colors.
The contrast between the black silhouettes of the trees, and the bright, warm light of the sun that illuminates the red flowers, is fascinating.
Furthermore the photograph seems to be divided in two parts - sky and forest. While the forest is dominated by the sunlight and some green and red colors, the sky is grey-blue, and the nearly black treetops criss-cross the homogeneous sky.

It has a very surreal effect on me, but I think you did a great job.
The only thing I really do not like is the frame. It transports the message that someone has died. You know what I mean?
But on the other hand I think it is your work and I can only tell you what I like and dislike about the artwork: in this case I like 95% of it - the other 5% are the dark frame.
So you can see that the content of the picture - for me - seems to be perfect. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>

Conclusion: Intensive atmosphere, created by contrasts between silhouettes and sunlight and an endlessness that is underlined by the sun, that cannot be seen directly (only indirectly because of the rays).
